Storage Tips

The smoothie base can be prepared through Step 3 and frozen in an airtight container for up to 2 weeks. Re-blend before serving.

For meal prep, combine the frozen mango, banana, turmeric mixture, and protein powder in freezer bags and store for up to 2 weeks. When ready to enjoy, blend with the yogurt, peanut butter, and sweetener.

Method

Step 1

Peel and dice 1 mango. Place the mango and banana slices in a freezer-safe bag and freeze for 4 to 6 hours, or overnight, until firm.

Step 2

In a small bowl, combine the turmeric with 1 tablespoon warm water. Stir until smooth and set aside to cool.

Step 3

Mix the protein powder and cold water until smooth. Pour into a high-speed blender. Add the turmeric mixture, frozen mango, frozen banana, Greek yogurt, peanut butter, and maple syrup or honey. Blend until smooth, thick, and creamy

Step 4

Peel and slice the remaining mango into thick wedges or chunks.

Step 5

Divide the smoothie mixture between two bowls. Top with the fresh mango and strawberries. Drizzle with additional peanut butter and maple syrup or honey. Sprinkle with granola or toasted seeds, if desired.

Serve immediately.
